Freeze 4 ripe bananas (peel, put in freezer bag & freeze overnight)
Pour enough water/milk/nut/rice or soy milk (choose whatever liquid you prefer) to cover the blade of blender then add frozen banana & blend. You may need to break the frozen bananas into pieces in order to get it to blend smoothly. For a thicker ice cream start with less liquid. If you are going for a smoothie or milkshake add more liquid to desired consistency.

Optional: Add 1-2 tsp vanilla extract (alcohol-free) or 1-2 T of carob or cacao. Feel free to add some fresh chopped fruit,nuts, figs, cacao nibs, or whatever topping you like!
